Annie first connected with Community through a college internship—but what began as a class credit turned into something much more meaningful. Three weeks into her semester at Ozark Christian College, her professor handed her Paul and Kara’s info, and the rest is history. She’s been involved ever since, bringing a heart for kids and a passion for ministry to everything she does.
Though she’s originally from the small town of Timpson, Texas, Annie has made herself right at home in southeast Kansas. She grew up serving in her home church, but her ministry roots really started to grow when she began attending Central City Christian Church after moving to the area. Whether it’s planning crafts, prepping lessons, or jumping in to help wherever needed, Annie brings energy, joy, and a deep love for Jesus to her role in Kids' Ministry.
Annie is the second oldest of four siblings—sandwiched between an older brother and two younger ones. Her family thrives on competition, especially when it comes to football and basketball, and she’s not afraid to bring that same fire to a game of dodgeball at church.
Books, Movies, or Podcasts:
Annie doesn’t get much downtime, but when she does, you’ll find her watching a feel-good movie or anything with a little romance and heart. Her go-to rewatch? Roped—a small-town rodeo love story she never gets tired of.
Favorite Ministry Memory:
“There are so many to choose from, but seeing the excitement on a kid’s face when they understand a Bible story for the first time—that’s always a win in my book.”
