Staff At Community

Community is not a place with just a few ministers, but many hundreds of ministers.

Our staff goal at Community is to equip the people of Community in such a way that ministry for Jesus is accomplished through every believer.

  • Dusty Drake

    Lead Minister

Dusty grew up at CCC and held ministries in Kansas, Missouri, and Texas before coming back to CCC in 1997. He served as the worship leader until 2018, when he moved into the Lead Minister position. Dusty's areas of greatest contribution to CCC lay in teaching, writing, leading, and Sunday morning services.

  • Paul Martin

Paul grew up in Pittsburg, KS. In 1995, he was hired at CCC as a summer intern and later as the part-time Children's Minister. In 1998, he was hired full time to be the Children's Minister. In 2018, his job transitioned to a Family Ministry position.

Family: Married Kara in 1995. They have 3 sons (Drew, Luke & Noah) & 2 daughters (Maia & Emma)

Hobbies: "Hobbies!? Who has time for hobbies!" Just kidding ... kind of. Did you see that he has 5 kids? They do love sports, almost any kind.

  • Kara Martin

    Kids Coordinator

  • Jamie Beckham

    Ministry Administrator

Jamie started as a secretary in the CCC office November of 2014 and is currently our Ministry Administrator. Her duties include event planning, activity facilitation, volunteer development, office management and general business duties.

You will often hear Jamie say, “I’ve trained my whole life for THIS job; I just didn’t know it.”

  • Davis Drake

    Worship Coordinator

Davis grew up attending CCC. He started working part time for CCC in October of 2018 after graduating from Pittsburg State University with a Music Degree. He leads worship when he is in town but his primary role for the church is planning and coordinating the worship services.

  • Jennifer Addington

    Office STAFF

Jennifer grew up in Fort Scott and has been attending CCC for 11 years. Jennifer works part-time in the front office doing general clerical duties. She loves people, so getting to work with the people in our church and community, and also being able to be with her family when needed, makes it the perfect job for her, in her eyes.

  • Joyce Cowen

Joyce is a long time member of CCC that started out helping in the office after her retirement from education. She is currently a part time receptionist/secretary whose duties include daily office tasks, volunteer scheduling, organizing prayer support, generating the 55+ weekly mailing and coordinating funeral dinners.
