Maggie is a lifelong Fort Scott resident who began attending Community Christian Church as a teenager. Through the youth group, she built lasting friendships and experienced the love of God in a meaningful way.

After graduating from Fort Scott High School in 2015, Maggie entered the workforce and later attended Fort Scott Community College. During that season, she spent time away from her faith, but God continued working in her life.

Maggie is the proud mother of four daughters: Bonnie, Mollie, Andie, and Ivie. Being a mom is one of her greatest joys and has helped shape her faith and perspective.

In 2024, Maggie and her girls returned to Fort Scott and became actively involved at Community once again. She joined the Fort Scott Middle School staff as a paraprofessional and quickly developed a passion for encouraging and supporting students. When the church office position became available, she was excited for the opportunity to serve the church that has had such a significant impact on her life.

Books, Movies, or Podcasts:

Due to Maggie’s love of knowledge she loves non-fiction books that help her be a better person and learn about history. She also enjoys Podcasts by Mel Robins, Andrew Huberman, and Jay Shetty . Her all time favorite movies are Shrek 1 and Shrek 2.

Favorite Ministry Memory:
"My faith and trust in God has grown tremendously this year so whenever I hear someone speaking about their struggles due to lack of support and community I tell them a little bit about my story and expressively encourage them to come check out Community since it has been SUCH a blessing to my family."
